This Executive Coaching service also includes the experienced services of Roger Taufel who also has some 40+ years of corporate sales & marketing experience. Roger is a consummate networker, as this is vital for sound business building. He will share his knowledge based on successful outcomes from both his own entrepreneurial experiences and those acquired from working with medium and multinational corporations.

Roger has been involved with many new and ongoing marketing projects.

Along with another boating personality, Roger produced the first Sanctuary Cove Boat show in March 1988 and then crafted the successful proposal to make it an annual event, the next one being May 1989. Due to that initiative, many new jobs were created and we would all be aware of the success of that Event.

Roger restructured the weekly insert of The Courier Mail’s “The Great Outdoors”, transitioning that to “Queensland Life Styles” with a focus on the regions of Queensland and once a month being in a different region gathering news stories and advertising, publishing this to highlight the diversity of Queensland.

The Quest Business Achiever Awards were successfully produced by Roger for some seven years, earning in that time an Australian Marketing Institute Award for “Events Marketing”. In this role, Roger liaised with artists, audio visual companies, caterers, suppliers, hospitality venues, theme co-ordinators and script writers as well as looking after the front of house staff. Some 5,500 key business people and their staff including senior politicians were hosted each year.

He ran one of the most successful full associate corporations to the Sydney Futures Exchange. Dealing there as well as on overseas exchanges, Roger performed well due to his understanding of people and it is people who make markets.

Roger worked at Drake Personnel, looking after the Executive Division, placing positions from Sales Managers to General Managers with local and International Companies.

Being some twenty years in media sales, he has come across every possible issue and excuse, both in Australia and overseas, and brings much commonsense to the table. This includes a multiplicity of industries, including: Marine, Trucking, Caravan, Housing, Tourism and Hospitality, as well as Retail and Government.

Roger was on Radio talk back when it was still in its infancy and promoted his Paint products to listeners’ when they had issues and problems.

Roger started his working life as a Jackeroo, and never forgot that to succeed in life you need to establish a good work ethic.
