Pox-SealPOX-SEAL has been developed to be used in joints between concrete paving and concrete-asphalt pavement. The adhesion to concrete is excellent but due to the high alkalinity in the concrete, especially in fresh concrete, an alkaline barrier must be applied as a primer to secure the adhesion in the long run. In asphalt no primer is needed. POX-SEAL is resistant towards aircraft fuel (100 LL and Jet A1) and to glycol and urea de-icing liquids. POX-SEAL can take a 60 % elongation at -30°C without giving rise to more than 0,6 Mpa stress. POX-SEAL is approved for jointing in green concrete owing to approval SP 0759 POX-SEAL has been developed to be used in joints between concrete paving and concrete-asphalt pavement.
